We are actively looking out for your feedback. That means we are talking to farmers, reading what is not working, and shipping fixes and features at the same time. Nothing gets shelved, and we are looking into every little bug, fix or necessary improvement.
One souvenir from Chile
When we visited Chile in March we walked into a farm that was still running on paper and handwritten records. Notebooks, folders and the most interesting are the tallies on the wall. It puts into perspective what we do with MusselApp and the reason why this app exists.
The whole point is to bring technology to farmers who have been doing this for decades with experience and instinct. Not to replace what they know, but to make sure none of it gets lost.
That picture is just a nice reminder and a way of putting into physical form everything that the data, the coding of the app and the developers do behind the scenes. We hope farmers and aquaculture experts keep using MusselApp, ask us to make changes, improve, further develop so your data doesn’t hold you back.
Here are the App Updates

1. Report Builder and Custom Templates
You can now build your own report templates. Add or remove columns you do not need, and save the layout for next time.
Two ways to do it:
Go to Profile > Report Templates to set up a template from scratch
Or customise directly when you are creating a report in the Reports tab:
2. Flupsy Farms – Now by Crop Type
You can now select the crop type when working with Flupsy farms. More accurate records for nursery operations.
3. Edit a Closed Farm
When a farm is closed you can still edit seedings, harvests, and assessments. All changes show up in the farm history.
4. Backup Files
You can now download a full backup of your data from Profile > Backup Files. Your records, yours to keep.
5. Timezone Management
You can now set and change your timezone from account settings. Your calendar and timestamps will reflect the correct local time.
Did you know? You already have automations!
Many of you have tasks that repeat every week or month, and we want to help you simplify that. You can use our automation feature to handle those recurring logs and seasonal reminders automatically.
Remember we’ve also added the option to automate your reports. This means you can have your farm’s data sent directly to your email without having to pull the information manually. It’s just a simpler way to keep your records organised.

We have started uploading how-to videos to our YouTube channel. If you are ever unsure how something works in the app, or want to show someone on your team, the videos are there.
Short, straight to the point, no fluff. We will keep adding more.
